In her first interview since returning to WWE, Nikki Bella says she was “really nervous” before her appearance on Monday Night RAW but that the support from her coworkers made her feel right back at home.
Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed her return after years away from a weekly WWE schedule.
“Everyone kept telling me, they’d go, ‘Nikki, the minute you walk in that arena, you’re going to feel at home,’ and it was so true,” she said. “I’ve been getting so much love from friends and family and coworkers saying how natural it was to see me back in there.”
Bella confirmed this is not a one-off appearance and that she will be having an extended run with the company. During her return segment, she was attacked by Liv Morgan, who made a personal comment about Nikki’s real-life divorce.
Bella said that for her, moments like that prove there’s a way to acknowledge reality without dragging out the details of her private life on screen. Brie Bella is in talks with WWE to return. For more on that, click here.
