Nikki Bella Addresses WWE Future After Women’s World Championship Loss

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella addressed her Women’s World Championship loss at Saturday night’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, vowing that her defeat to Stephanie Vaquer is far from the end of her in-ring career.

Vaquer successfully defended her title against the veteran, defeating Bella in a decisive fashion after a competitive match. Bella’s post-match comments, captured in a newly released video on WWE’s Instagram page, promise that the former Divas Champion is determined to return to the ring.

The End of A Title Challenge

The championship bout was the culmination of a rivalry sparked by Nikki Bella’s surprising heel turn of her on-screen friend, Stephanie Vaquer. Nikki had spent time building a friendship with the champion only to turn on her, making it clear she was focused solely on winning the Women’s World Championship and proving herself against the current generation of stars.

Nikki Bella Vows To Continue

Following the loss, Nikki Bella provided a brief statement in a video on WWE’s Instagram page. Her initial silence broke into a firm declaration that she would not be retiring, despite the setback on a major Premium Live Event.

“You want a comment? What happened out there? I lost. But let me tell you something — this isn’t the last of Nikki Bella. It’s not the last.”
