Nikki Bella: Bryan Danielson Gives Me ‘Honest’ Feedback

On today’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki Garcia, aka Nikki Bella, discussed the feedback she receives from her brother-in-law, AEW’s Bryan Danielson. Garcia noted that other talent in the locker room is aware she gets advice from Danielson and is impressed by it.

“It was cute because at RAW yesterday, I was talking with some of the girls and we were talking about my match last week and I was like, ‘Yeah, and Bryan and blah, blah,’ and they’re like, ‘Oh my god, how cool. So, Bryan gives you advice?'” Garcia said. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, he gives me feedback. He has sent me stuff to watch. He’ll tell me things to work on,’ and they’re like, ‘Dude, you’re so lucky,’ and I’m like, I know and I go, ‘And he’s honest.'”

She credited that honest feedback for a change in her recent performance on WWE Raw. “That’s why last night, did you notice how I was a little more… I had more intensity going into things?” Garcia asked.

The intensity Nikki mentioned was on display during the November 3 episode of Monday Night Raw, though it did not lead to a victory. Nikki teamed with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a losing effort against Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. Perez was able to pin Nikki after Raquel Rodriguez interfered, securing the win for her team. Later in the show, a backstage segment showed Nikki apologizing to Vaquer for the loss, stating that she feels “rusty” trying to keep up with the new generation of stars.
