Extra TV posted a clip of their post-SummerSlam interview with Nikki Bella. Nikki was asked about a possible return to the ring. She has previously said that she and sister Brie want one more run to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
She said the following during her interview on Saturday: “You know, I talked to Brie about this on the daily. I look at Tamina and I look at Natalya and I see them hold the Tag team Championships and there is nothing more than I would love to come back for that. I truly hope that in the future I can come back in that ring and compete, compete in front of my son who would sit in the front row. It would be a dream. It’s not over for The Bella Twins, we definitely will come back and make our mark.”
Nikki was also asked about John Cena’s match against Roman Reigns. She said, “I actually have to say when you’re in Vegas, the tables took me away. I was busy playing roulette and I was winning big so I missed it.”
Nikki previously said on Instagram that she was not allowed to go to SummerSlam but she did not say why. In another red carpet interview, she made it clear that she was not happy about the way Bianca Belair was booked to get squashed by Becky Lynch and she said that she did not have a favorite SummerSlam moment.
