Nikki Cross might not be done in WWE NXT, which is considered the company’s developmental system, after all. Despite the fact that WWE has announced that Cross as well as EC3, Lacey Evans, Lars Sullivan, and Heavy Machinery would be called up to the main roster soon whether that be on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live remains to be seen.
Since she started with SAnitY down in NXT, her character has been booked as being unpredictable, which is something that she appears to be taking to the main roster with her as she has dropped an interesting hint.
In a recent post on her official Twitter account, she teased the possibility that she could return to developmental one day. Thus, it would mark for quite the comeback moment. This is after she worked a match on this week’s episode of NXT where she lost to Bianca Belair.
She wrote the following: “Hehe don’t miss me too much @WWENXT Nikki Nikki shows up when you least expect her to, just say her name three times in front of a mirror with the lights off #LetsPlay #LetsPlay #LetsPlay.”

Cross has actually worked on the main roster before as in November during a SmackDown TV taping in Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena, Cross took on then-SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. The match was short as it only went five minutes with Lynch winning by submission.
