The classic 1996 golf comedy. “Happy Gilmore 2” was officially announced by Netflix in 2024, with Adam Sandler set to reprise his iconic role as the titular character. This appearance aligns with Garcia’s previous tease of a “really big announcement” for July, which is related to a movie role.
For MJF, who appeared in “The Iron Claw,” this would mark another significant step into Hollywood.
