Last night’s Payback was written early last week and there were very little changes made to the script so what was done yesterday was exactly how they wanted it done and Vince McMahon seemed to be happy about how everything was laid out. Usually there are changes up until the day of the show. The feeling backstage was that they had to go out there and outdo the NXT show because they didn’t want to get “shown up” by the rookies in NXT.
