Fans have noticed that the CW App is listing all NWA Powerrr episodes, including this week’s show, as “expiring in six days.” That timeline indicates the episodes will be gone by next Tuesday.
October 1st is the same day that WWE NXT debuts on The CW Network. It was originally believed WWE didn’t have an exclusivity clause in its deal with the network for NXT, something they have done in the past to prevent other wrestling promotions from airing on a network they were also on.
Next week’s episode of Powerrr is slated to showcase the NWA 76 event from Philadelphia. The main event of that show is EC3 vs. Thom Latimer for the NWA Championship.
The NXT premiere episode will feature NXT Champion Ethan Page defending against Trick Williams with CM Punk as guest referee, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez defending against Giulia, and Wes Lee vs. Zachary Wentz in a street fight.
Also on tap is WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill appearing, and The Miz hosting Miz TV.
