NXT star Drake Maverick appears to be making moves to prepare for his post-WWE future, whenever that might be.
Maverick has resurrected his YouTube account that is under his real name, James M. Curtin. After being inactive for 7 years, the account has some new uploads featuring matches from his days in Impact Wrestling as Rockstar Spud.
You can check out the account at this link.
Maverick was in a long-running storyline with Killian Dain. The story was that Maverick wanted to be Dain’s best friend and Dain was reluctant to team with him but seemed to be warming up to Maverick. The team was disbanded on June 25 when Dain was released.
Maverick was released in April 2020 but was rehired a few weeks later. He is now involved in the LA Knight/Cameron Grimes storyline. The activity on YouTube appears to be done to prepare for whatever the future holds since he or anyone can be released at a moment’s notice.
