On this week’s episode of 205 Live, WWE announced that Hideo Itami will be making his main roster debut next week.
Itami has been under contract since 2014 and he was supposed to move up to the main roster much sooner. However, injuries sidelined him for much of his time in NXT. Now, he hopes to get a fresh start on the main roster as part of the cruiserweight division and 205 Live. The idea to move him to the cruiserweight division is to get some more credible names mixed in with that roster as they prepare to take 205 Live on the road for live events.
Also, as we mentioned on Tuesday, there’s a former Impact Wrestling star expected to start with WWE next week. It’s a spoiler but click here if you want to know who that person is.
