NXT wrestlers upset during recent WWE TV tapings

WWE spent several days last week in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center holding TV tapings for shows such as Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live, and Main Event.

In addition to these tapings, WWE also held a string of tapings for the weekly NXT program on the USA Network in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University.

NXT Champion Adam Cole will defend his title against The Velveteen Dream at the NXT TakeOver: In Your House event, which will air this Sunday. As noted earlier on the site, WWE taped the match back on May 28.

The roster was asked to carpool there. Their cars surrounded a ring that was placed on the filming set behind Full Sail University.

In an update, Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that NXT wrestlers were called upon to do three straight 12 hour days. Aside from those TV tapings, the Performance Center recruits, who were used as “fans” for both the main roster and NXT TV tapings, were also called upon by the company to be at the filming session of Cole vs. Dream.

While filming this match, they had delays due to rainfall.

Per the report, “The recruits were asked to show up at 7, but the downpour in the area kept delaying things. As it turns out, most were waiting around until midnight before they actually filmed the In Your House match.”

According to the report, some of the wrestlers were said to be upset about their experience last week.
