Official rules for tonight’s Fist Fight on WWE Monday Night Raw

Up until now, the wrestlers in tonight’s Fist Fight on Monday Night Raw had not been told what the rules are for the match. Kevin Owens said as much on Twitter over the weekend. Now, per The Wrap, the rules have been revealed.

As everyone knows, the match will feature Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe and Big Show taking on Seth Rollins and AOP and the rules are simple.

It will be a no-holds-barred match with no disqualification, no count-outs, no pinfalls and no submissions. A WWE rep told The Wrap that this is a first in the wrestling business.

So, essentially an entire team has to be “knocked out” in order for a winner to be determined.

The same person from WWE told The Wrap, “This is a legit fistfight. You know how fistfights are? If we’re in high school and I say, ‘See you at 3 o’clock, meet you around back, we’re gonna have a fistfight.’ Fistfights happen until one guy drops, or two guys drop. This is a rumble, this is ‘West Side Story.'”

Obviously, they are not going to legitimately knock each other out but the goal is clearly to draw some curious fans in to watch in hopes to increase the ratings for their match.

This should solve Kevin Owens’ answers on tonight’s match.

Tonight’s WWE Raw will take place in Lexington, KY.
