WWE will continue the build for the upcoming NXT Heatwave special next month on tonight’s episode of NXT.
The episode has several things already confirmed, including Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan defending against Michin, a 25-man number one contender’s battle royal to decide Trick Williams’ next NXT Championship challenger, Roxanne Perez & Lola Vice vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs. Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx, and we will hear from North American Champion Oba Femi.
WWE announced that the battle royal will open the show. The bout was announced by Cody Rhodes last week when he appeared on the broadcast. The winner will challenge Williams for the top prize in NXT at NXT Heatwave on July 7.
More matches will be announced for the show in the coming hours.
