WWE has officially added a new match and segment to the lineup for the final Monday Night Raw of 2025. In a video released on Saturday, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Austin Theory will face Rey Mysterio in singles competition on the December 29 episode.
Grudge Match Set
The announcement follows the events of last week’s show, where Theory and Bronson Reed defeated Mysterio and CM Punk in the main event. Theory secured the victory for his team by pinning the WWE Hall of Famer after delivering a stomp. Pearce confirmed that the match was made to settle the score between the two, noting Theory’s status as the “newest member” of the faction known as The Vision.
Opening Segment
In addition to the match, Pearce revealed that The Vision—the group managed by Paul Heyman—will open the broadcast. The faction has been a focal point of Raw in recent weeks, with Theory revealing himself as the mystery attacker who had been aiding the group.
