Original plans for Brock Lesnar’s WWE return have changed

It appears that WWE has switched things around for Brock Lesnar.

It was noted in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar was going to still be suspended and he would show up with a ticket at the WWE SmackDown in Los Angeles on 12/10. This was actually advertised on the Staples Center social media accounts. However, that changed and last week it was announced by Kayla Braxton that Lesnar’s suspension has been lifted and he will appear tonight in San Antonio.

Several weeks ago, WrestlingNews.co was told that Lesnar would be out until January and then he would wrestle at the Royal Rumble so it’s obvious that plans have changed a few times since then.

On last week’s show, Sami Zayn won a battle royale to earn a shot at the Universal Championship so that looks to be coming up soon before Reigns give his full attention to Lesnar again. It was previously noted by Meltzer that things were leaning towards Reigns vs. Lesnar having their rematch at WrestleMania.
