During his appearance on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, The Rock revealed that WrestleMania 42 will take place in New Orleans at the Superdome next year before having a segment with Cody Rhodes.
Following the show, The Rock spoke at the press conference to discuss how WWE originally wanted to announce the WrestleMania location.
“We were going to be part of the Super Bowl and make the announcement at the Super Bowl, that we were coming here to New Orleans. We had a couple of hiccups, and we couldn’t make that happen. But in any event, we’re here now. The improvements made to the dome [Superdome] played a great factor into what we’re doing.”
