WWE seems committed to Otis’ heel turn because they had him change his look to put over that he’s not someone to laugh at anymore.
This week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, during the match between Chad Gable and Montez Ford, Otis attacked Ford. Prior to this, he attacked Angelo Dawkings backstage.
During the in-ring attack, Otis refused to stop the attack until WWE officials ran out to attack him. Pat McAfee put over Otis’ new look and mean streak. Otis has his hair up in a ponytail with a clean-shaven face.
Usually, wrestlers will grow out their facial hair for a heel turn but the opposite was the case for Otis.
