Paige expresses frustration with WWE’s booking of the women’s divisions

Former WWE Divas Champion and SmackDown General Manager Paige appeared on WWE After the Bell to talk with Corey Graves about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, she expressed her frustration with the way that WWE has portrayed its female talent on both Raw and SmackDown as she thinks the divisions feel stagnant.

The reason for that belief is due to WWE relying on the same talent – Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks.

“I don’t understand why we don’t have another girl’s PPV (Evolution PPV). We had that one-off deal, like what the h*** is that about? Give us one every year what the f**k? That’s the whole purpose, we had a women’s evolution for a reason.”

Paige continued, “Let’s stop talking about the women’s evolution and actually just let the women do whatever they want. I just feel like a lot of the girls are being held back.”

Paige noted that she loves all of the members of the Four Horsewomen

“There’s a lot of women that should be given an opportunity as much as I love those four, there are other women in the company.”

Paige added that she’s excited to see Liv Morgan come back and named other stars that she loves before wrapping it up stating that there are other women outside of the Four Horsewomen to be used.
