Former WWE Divas Champion and SmackDown General Manager Paige spoke with The Mirror to promote the release of Fighting With My Family.
During this interview, she spoke about the work that Impact Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard did in the Fighting with My Family movie, which is a film based on Paige’s life and family.
Blanchard played Paige during the scene that is based on Paige defeating AJ Lee for the Divas Championship that was filmed at a Monday Night Raw TV event back in February 2017.
This is where Paige praised Blanchard for her role in the film, which is slated to be released around the world on Friday.
“I didn’t have any input when it came to casting or any of the stunt work kind of thing, I left that to Stephen Merchant, but I think a lot of people recommended Tessa and I’m so glad they did because she’s such a wonderful wrestler. She’s going to make me look good,” said Paige. “She’s just an incredible athlete. She hasn’t had enough incredible feedback from this movie. I just want her to know if she reads any of this that she’s wonderful and she did an amazing job.”
