Paige has never given up on the hope of potentially returning to the ring one day after suffering a career-ending neck injury.
Former two-time WWE Divas Champion took to Twitter to note that she’s able to squat 185 lbs again. She wrote the following:
“You guys I’m getting stronger. squatting 185lbs again. I know it’s not a ton but it’s a big accomplishment for me who was worried to do any gym stuff because of my neck. But my neck is feeling so awesome. I’m so proud of myself.”
Paige last worked a match in December 2017 at a live event that needed to be called off after she took a hard kick to the back from Sasha Banks. She was told that would not be cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again due to her having spinal stenosis.
Since that time, she’s worked as a manager, SmackDown GM, and an analyst on FS1’s WWE Backstage show. Now, she’s working on Twitch and as a model.
