Paige thinks WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles have been thrown under the rug and not taken seriously

Since WWE introduced the Women’s Tag Team Titles, many fans have felt that the titles have not received the same treatment as other belts in the company.

You can add Paige to the list of people who believe that as she gave her take while joining the panel on Tuesday’s episode of Backstage on FS1.

The panel discussed Bayley and Sasha Banks currently holding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after winning them from Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

“I just feel like the tag team championship haven’t been utilized to their full potential, considering everyone that’s had them.”

Paige brought up being the manager of Asuka and Kairi Sane while they had the titles before Asuka turned on her by spitting mist in her face.

“I feel like they’re not being defended, I don’t think they’ve been used right. They’ve kind of been thrown under the rug. They’re not being taken very seriously. I just feel like at some point they have to be taken seriously because this is such a big moment for the women’s division to have these tag team titles instead of just having one championship.

“Now, we have a tag team division and we could utilize so many of the tag teams we have, even down in NXT or up in Raw and SmackDown or something.”

Paige added that while Bayley and Banks are good and solid, she thinks WWE should try and build some other people.
