Patrick Clark (The Velveteen Dream) wants to work in WWE again



Former WWE NXT star Patrick Clark (The Velveteen Dream) is looking to relaunch his pro wrestling career and make a return to WWE.

In a post on his Instagram stories, he shared a message to the company about how he’d still like to have a career with the WWE. He wrote:

“Despite trashy and unsavory allegations against me that I have beat! I’d still like to have a career with n the E. @wwenxt. I was never guilty and I got a hell of a lot of talent. I’m only 26. LFG. IM READY TO GO THE SHOW WHAT IT SHOULD BE."

It’s been reported the decision to let him go was made because of an incident with a top star in WWE. He was accused in 2020 of having inappropriate contact with minors. After these allegations were made, he was only used a few times on NXT TV with his last match coming against Adam Cole in December 2020.

Clark was slated to make his first non-WWE appearance at Superstars of Wrestling Federation’s Home Sweet show last September but was pulled from it.
