Brock Lesnar wasn’t at Raw this week as he was advertised but the show still went off well with Roman Reigns cutting a worked shoot promo in The Beast Incarnate’s general direction. With an impending jump back to UFC possibly on the horizon, it looks like we’re in the same place we were in three years ago in regards to the same question surrounding Lesnar’s future.
It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the those close to the situation think Brock Lesnar is leaving WWE for a UFC return. But his no-show on Raw this week was a last-minute rewrite and not Brock simply walking off before the event. Because even though Lesnar has walked out prior to Raw before seeing how Paul Heyman also wasn’t at the Staples Center in Los Angeles that seems to back up the theory that Lesnar was simply called and given enough notice that he wasn’t needed for the show.
But if you have tickets for Saturday’s big WWE house show in Chicago, then have no fear because Paul Heyman has made it very clear that Brock Lesnar will indeed be making the show.
The reigning defending undisputed @WWE #UniversalChampion @BrockLesnar and I fully intend to honor our contractual obligations and therefore will indeed appear LIVE at the @UnitedCenter this Saturday night in #Chicago. pic.twitter.com/Mc4VGuHcqZ
