This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown closed out with Paul Heyman and Adam Pearce facing off in the ring after a challenge was issued in the opening segment of the show.
Paul Heyman tripped and “injured” himself as he was trying to get in the ring so a suitable replacement, Roman Reigns, walked out in his place. Reigns quickly took out Pearce with the Superman punch before taking him around the arena like he did with Kevin Owens a few weeks ago.
This time, Owens appeared out of nowhere to attack Reigns. Owens got the last laugh this week because he hit Reigns with a stunner and a pop up powerbomb through the announcer’s table.
