Paul Heyman References AEW And Vince McMahon While Roasting Michael Cole

During an exchange on the Pat McAfee Show, the animosity between Paul Heyman and Michael Cole reached a boiling point. This was stemming from the events of WrestleMania 41, where Heyman shockingly aligned with Seth Rollins, betraying Roman Reigns and CM Punk.

Cole questioned Heyman’s motives and loyalty, saying, “I want to know how much Seth Rollins paid you to pull off what happened on Saturday night.”

In a vintage Heyman response, the “Wise Man” didn’t hold back. “About a dollar less than Vince McMahon used to pay you to be JR’s [Jim Ross] lackey. I’m sorry, were you going to the lowest bidder back then? Never saw you jump to WCW,” Heyman retorted, referencing Cole’s early career and loyalty to WWE during the Monday Night Wars.

Cole, unflustered, replied, “Never.”

Heyman continued his verbal assault. “I don’t see you going to Jacksonville anytime soon,” referencing AEW’s headquarters location.

Again, Cole offered a one-word answer: “Nope.”

Heyman then delivered the scathing punchline, directly comparing Cole’s professional choices to a transactional relationship. “So you’re staying with the highest bidder, right? So you’re just like the hooker on Las Vegas Boulevard.”
