Paul Heyman is out of action indefinitely following an attack on the March 2 episode of Monday Night RAW. The announcement was made by Michael Cole during tonight’s broadcast.
According to Cole, Heyman sustained multiple injuries during the altercation last week. The medical diagnosis includes a cervical spinal contusion, facial lacerations, and a deviated septum. Due to the nature of these injuries, there is currently no estimated timeline for his return to WWE television.
The injuries were the result of an attack initiated by Seth Rollins. During the March 2 broadcast, Rollins struck Heyman from behind with a steel chair before executing a “Stomp”.
Moments later, Heyman was loaded into an ambulance for medical transport. However, the vehicle was intercepted and driven away by WWE star LA Knight. One would assume that Heyman will be back by WrestleMania.
