Paul Heyman says there is "zero chance" for a Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar match

Paul Heyman was the guest on Chael Sonnen's podcast this week on Podcast One. Sonnen asked Heyman talked about the potential Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar match that was teased on the recent Stone Cold podcast on the WWE Network. Heyman said that he legitimately caught Austin off-guard with his question at the end of the podcast.

Heyman also said that there was no way that he could have done Austin's podcast without asking him about a match with Lesnar even though there is "zero chance" that the match will happen. As noted earlier, the belief is that Lesnar and Heyman see the match with Austin as the biggest potential money match possible. They would probably be right since it would be Austin's first match since 2003 and the show takes place in Austin's home state in front of 100,000 people.

Sonnen did question whether Heyman was working him and said that he hopes Austin is involved with the show in some form. Heyman agreed and said that he hopes so too. Also, Heyman said that if this is a work then Austin would be playing up the rumors but since he squashed the idea of the match on his podcast then the match won't be happening.
