Monday Night Raw opened with the fallout from the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event. The broadcast, featuring announcers Michael Cole and Corey Graves, began with a video package highlighting the events of the men’s Chamber match. During that event, Seth Rollins secured the victory to earn the right to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 42.
Following the video recap, The Vision faction, consisting of Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory, entered the ring. Heyman introduced himself and the group before addressing Rollins. Prior to Rollins’ recent absence due to shoulder surgery, he was kicked out of The Vision, leading to the current animosity between the two sides.
As the live crowd began humming Rollins’ entrance theme, Heyman stopped his standard introduction to address the noise.
“I hate that freaking song and I hate Seth Rollins,” Heyman stated. “Seth stole the credit from co-founding this group from me. Seth stole the credit for co-founding The Shield. Seth stole the Elimination Chamber and stole the main event of WrestleMania from Logan Paul.”
Heyman continued his promo, issuing a direct threat regarding Rollins’ future physical well-being on behalf of the faction.
“Seth steals oxygen from every individual on this planet worthy of living and Mr. Lynch is not one of them,” Heyman said. “We will do something about that. The next time he is in a WWE ring, we will stomp his a** out. That is not a prediction or a spoiler. It is a personal guarantee from the group.”
Austin Theory then addressed his history with Rollins. He noted that his theory is that he goes way back with Seth, but he isn’t going forward with him, specifically citing what Rollins did to Logan Paul inside the Elimination Chamber.
Logan Paul took the microphone to air his grievances, referring to Rollins as a “scumbag.”
“I eliminated three people in the chamber before you stole the victory from me,” Paul said. “The last person to do that is Brock Lesnar. That is the company that I keep. The rest of this show is not happening until…”
Before Paul could finish his sentence, WWE official Adam Pearce came out to the stage accompanied by a team of security personnel. Pearce stated that he understood their frustrations, but he accused the faction of injuring Jey Uso this past Friday. Pearce emphatically stated that they were not going to hold the television show hostage.
“We had nothing to do with Jey, but we will plead guilty in advance of what we do to Seth,” Heyman replied before throwing his microphone to the mat.
Pearce warned the group that he needed to have a conversation with Rollins, noting that if Rollins was present in the building, he would do something crazy.
Immediately following Pearce’s warning, a masked man appeared in the arena. Security personnel chased the masked individual through the crowd. A second masked man then appeared, prompting Logan Paul to chase him through the audience. A third masked man showed up, and Austin Theory chased him into the crowd as well.
This sequence of events successfully drew away all the security and active faction members, leaving Heyman completely alone in the ring. Heyman realized his situation and attempted to leave the ring, but he stopped when he saw another masked man appear in the aisle.
As Heyman stared at the man in the aisle, a final masked man appeared on the ring apron behind him holding a steel chair. The individual removed his mask, revealing himself to be Seth Rollins. Rollins entered the ring and struck Heyman in the back with the chair. Rollins then executed his Black Out finishing maneuver on Heyman.
Following the attack, Rollins escaped through the crowd. Medical staff immediately slid into the ring to evaluate Heyman, who was left bleeding from the nose as he was helped out of the ring to close the segment.
After the break, the cameras showed Heyman getting loaded into a hospital. Austin Theory was about to get in his vehicle when Jimmy Uso popped out and attacked him. The ambulance drove off and it turns out that LA Knight was the driver.
