Paul Heyman talks about Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg, Survivor Series, more

Paul Heyman recently spoke with to promote this Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event. During the interview, Heyman was asked about Goldberg’s WWE return. Heyman said that Goldberg, who is a family man, wants his wife and son to see him wrestle live and that is the reason he is returning. “To Goldberg’s credit, I think he’s in the best shape of his life, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s as capable of beat that superhero in today’s environment,” Heyman said. Heyman thinks that if Goldberg stepped in the ring with anyone other than Brock Lesnar, then he would spear and jackhammer them with ease.

When asked if Lesnar wants redemption for losing to Goldberg at WrestleMania 20 in 2004, Heyman said that Lesnar spends no time dwelling on the past and that Lesnar has a clear conscience about their match in 2004 because he was not emotionally invested in that match as he already had one foot out the door. “They were both at a different point in their lives, but both want to be here now, and both of them are driven to put on a main event for the ages,” Heyman said.

Heyman also talked about his promos and more. You can read the entire interview here.
