Paul Heyman’s Agency “Looking For Larry” At The Forefront Of AI Technology

While best known as one of the greatest managers and minds in professional wrestling history, Paul Heyman is also the co-founder of a New York City-based marketing and production agency, “Looking for Larry.” During a detailed interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Heyman revealed that his agency has recently entered into a major new partnership and is now at the forefront of utilizing “cutting edge” artificial intelligence technology to create content.

A New Partnership and a New Home

Heyman explained that his agency, which he co-founded with his partner Mitchell Stewart, has recently partnered with MCM Studios in New York. “Today was my first day that I got to see our new studio offices,” he said. He described the new location as an “innovative, progressive place” that is also home to the popular web series Hot Ones.

At the Forefront of AI

The most significant development from this new partnership is the agency’s access to and implementation of advanced AI technology. Heyman, who stated he had been pushing his partner to get into AI for some time, was admittedly “blown away” by what he saw. “I actually can honestly brag. I think we have the most cutting edge AI that is available in the marketplace today,” he stated. “If we don’t get in on this thing, AI… we might as well just say Looking for Larry was a great run. It’s time to close up shop. AI is the future of everything.”

Creating Content Without Humans or Cameras

Heyman then showed a promotional video for a tequila client that was created entirely with artificial intelligence. “What you’re watching has not one human being, has not one actual camera in use. This is all AI,” he explained. “That’s not a real person. That’s not a real fire. This is all AI, smoke, fire, earth, spirit.” He pointed out the incredible detail, from the fingernails to the fruit being cut, as evidence of the technology’s power.

The Future of Production

He detailed the agency’s new capabilities, which position them as a leader in this emerging field. “What would I have done if I didn’t come back in 2012? I would have concentrated on the agency,” he said, noting their past work with EA Sports. Now, with this technology, the possibilities are even greater. “To be used for what? Movies, commercials, viral content. We have it. We can do it. We can produce it… We have the capability of doing AI better than anybody else out there today.”
