Penta Went Longer Than He Was Supposed To Go In WWE Raw Debut

Penta El Zero Miedo has officially arrived in WWE. WWE has been airing mysterious vignettes in recent weeks, fueling speculation about the signing of the former AEW star.  Penta departed AEW in late 2024 with widespread belief that he was bound for WWE.

On this week’s episode of Raw, Penta was revealed as the Mystery Luchador who battled Chad Gable in a singles match. Penta went over in the contest that was competitive with the Penta Driver.

After the match, Penta cut a passionate promo. Earlier in the day, WWE Shop began listing his merchandise. He was also featured on the featured material on the homepage.

PWInsider.com reports that Penta is fine and was just selling his leg. Penta did go long as “between the 13 minute match and his post-match promo, Penta went way longer than he was initially planned to go, which led to time being trimmed from other segments later in the show.”

Some talent wasn’t thrilled about that, but management was happy with the debut and with Penta’s reaction live. They were also happy with the early merchandise numbers.
