WWE released several talents, including Giovanni Vinci, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Isla Dawn, Cedric Alexander, AOP (Rezar and Akam), their manager Paul Ellering, and Blair Davenport. Sonya Deville was informed that WWE wouldn’t be renewing her deal, which expires later this month.
Everyone except for Deville is under 90-day non-compete clauses. This means they can’t work for anyone until three months are up. After that, they will hit the free agent market and can sign with anyone.
Fightful Select reports, “Those within NXT Fightful spoke to believe the releases are tied to a new batch of call-ups being brought in to main roster in 2025.” It’s unclear when the main roster call-ups will happen or who will be called up.
