People In WWE Expect Dirt To Be Found About Vince McMahon And John Laurinaitis By The Feds

WWE, Vince McMahon and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis are still waiting for the lawsuit against them by former WWE employee Janel Grant to move forward.

McMahon was alleged to be involved in sex trafficking, sharing nude photos and explicit videos of Grant without consent, and other things from the former WWE employee. Grant agreed to a request by the US Attorney’s Office to pause the lawsuit pending a non-public investigation.

The US Attorney for the Southern District of New York had previously launched a criminal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking against the former WWE Chairman and CEO that is still ongoing.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported in a Q&A that company employees expect the feds’ investigation to uncover things about McMahon and Laurinaitis.

SRS said, “People in WWE are not nearly as concerned about the company personally. They expect things to be found about Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. That’s just the long and short of it. At least from a talent standpoint, everybody feels rid of those two guys. There was a false sense of security a few years ago, but now it has been reiterated internally that there is no longer an association there.”
