A pet pig once owned by Logan Paul was recently found “abandoned” in a field in a “mangled” state. The pig is now being cared for by The Gentle Barn, a rescue organization.
The animal sanctuary in Santa Clarita, CA, posted a TikTok Monday about rescuing a pig with tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection. The pig was next to a dead pig.
Paul owned the pig that was rescued years ago but originally thought it was supposed to be a mini pig when he first got her, but now the pig has grown in size. In an email sent to Gentle Barn by Paul that TMZ obtained, he thanked them for caring for the pig and explained that the pig’s been rehomed a few times.
According to Paul, the pig lived with him until April 2020, when he moved to Puerto Rico. He sent the pig to a new home in Santa Clarita, where he thinks she lived for ten months until being rehomed to another farm.
A source close to Paul told the media outlet that he was upset to learn of the situation and is truly grateful to Gentle Barn. The email sent by Paul notes the situation is “shocking and heartbreaking” to hear about Pearl’s condition, and he’s offering to help contribute to the pig’s care again.
