Last week we noted that officials from Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and Toronto were in New Orleans last week to meet with WWE about hosting a future WrestleMania. The report originated from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Philly.com talked to a source from the Philadelphia Sports Congress. They denied that a meeting took place.
Keep in mind that WWE has asked cities in the past to keep quiet on talks for future WrestleMania’s so it could just be that they’re denying because they were asked by WWE not to reveal anything because if a deal is done then WWE wants to be the ones to announce it.
