Braun Strowman is finally able to get back into the gym to train. “The Monster Among Men” underwent elbow surgery several weeks ago to repair some bone spurs. He was written off WWE TV in an attack angle on an episode of Monday Night Raw. He returned at the Tables Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view to defeat Baron Corbin, thanks to some help from Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, and Heath Slater.
Now, Strowman is set to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble PPV in January. However, Strowman hasn’t engaged in any physicality on WWE TV since his surgery, and likely won’t until he faces Lesnar in Phoenix.
Strowman is making great progress on his way back to in-ring competition, as he shared on Instagram that he is finally able to get back to training after eight weeks without being able to do so:
“And so it begins!!!! 8 weeks with out training has been killing me. First day back training shoulders. 25lbs at a time. Slow and steady and getting ready to pass these out”
