PHOTO: Darby Allin Plants AEW Flag On Mount Everest

AEW star Darby Allin has done something amazing outside the wrestling ring, successfully reaching the top of Mount Everest this past Sunday, May 18, 2025. This huge achievement marks the end of a tough and risky climb he has been getting ready for since late last year.

True to his word, the always daring Allin took a piece of AEW with him to the highest point on Earth, planting an AEW flag there. Soon after reaching the top, Allin shared his strong feelings and thanks on social media. He posted, “Mount Everest summit. What a ride thanks @aew for everything in life. Thanks to the amazing team at adventure consultants and the Sherpa squad this shit was wild!”

Allin has been away from AEW television since December 2024, focusing on training for the Everest trip, which started in April 2025. While this amazing personal goal is now complete, it is not yet known when Darby Allin will make his exciting return to an AEW ring. AEW fans and wrestling watchers everywhere are celebrating his incredible personal success and are keen to see him back.
