Photo Of Hardcore Holly Still In Remarkable Shape At 63 Goes Viral On Social Media

A photo of Hardcore Holly has gone viral on social media after his wife Linda Howard shared an image on her social media showing the former WWE star still in remarkable shape at 63 years old. Scroll down to see what Holly looks like today.

According to Howard, Holly has maintained his physique by working out every day for two hours and following the carnivore diet, which consists exclusively of animal products such as meat, eggs, and some dairy while eliminating all carbohydrates.

The photo was originally posted by Howard in June 2025 but is currently trending after being widely re-shared across social media platforms.

Holly, whose real name is Robert Howard, has largely stayed out of the public eye since leaving WWE. He was released from the company in 2009 after a 15-year run that saw him become one of the most recognizable mid-card performers of his era. He wrestled only intermittently on the independent circuit after his release.

Howard also wants fans to be aware that a “Bob Holly” account on X is fake. Howard has confirmed on multiple occasions that the account was hacked and taken over by an impersonator. It has also been confirmed that the same account previously impersonated the late Sid Vicious before switching to Holly’s name.

During his WWE career, Holly won the WWF Hardcore Championship six times. He was a three-time WWF/E World Tag Team Champion, holding the titles with The 1-2-3 Kid, Crash Holly, and Cody Rhodes at different points. He also won the NWA World Tag Team Championship alongside Bart Gunn when the two formed a revival of The Midnight Express as Bombastic Bob and Bodacious Bart.

Holly debuted in professional wrestling in 1988 and joined WWE full-time in 1994. He initially portrayed a NASCAR driver character named Thurman “Sparky” Plugg before eventually becoming Hardcore Holly. In 2002, he suffered a broken neck during a match with Brock Lesnar that sidelined him for over a year. He returned and feuded with Lesnar over the WWE Championship before spending his final years in the company as a tag team partner with Cody Rhodes.

Holly published his autobiography, The Hardcore Truth: The Bob Holly Story, in 2013.
