ORIGINAL: The greatest pro wrestling ring announcer of all-time and WWE Hall Of Famer Howard Finkel is in New York City for WrestleMania week.

Finkel's voice was a staple on WWF/E programming from the late 70s into the 2000s and is still an employee with WWE. However, he had to pull back from public appearances at the end of 2017 due to health issues.

We broke the story here on about his declining health and Jerry "The King" Lawler noted on his podcast that he had heard that Finkel may have suffered a stroke.

Braun Strowman posed with Finkel on Thursday for Finkel's first public appearance since news broke about his health. The last time we heard Finkel's voice on WWE television was at the Monday Night Raw 25th anniversary show in January of 2018. Finkel was not at the show but a recording of his voice was used to introduce The Undertaker at the Manhattan Center.

Strowman wrote, "The one and only #HowardFinkel so great to see this man here for #Wrestlemania week!!!!! #Legend #HallOfFamer #OneOfAKind #MyFriend"
