Ivar of The Viking Raiders is currently on the sidelines due to an injury as he underwent neck surgery in September of last year.

Leading up to the surgery, he had been dealing with neck issues, but aggravated it while doing a suicide dive during an eight-man tag team match on the September 7th Raw episode.

He later got the surgery done by Dr. Andrew Cordover at Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama in mid-September.

WWE Hall of Famer DDP noted on Twitter that he was working out with the WWE star, DDP Yoga co-creator Aaron Craig, and rehab specialist Payge McMahon. He wrote the following:

“Working out with Yoga Doc, @PaygeMcMahon, and @Ivar_WWE who’s rehabbing from surgery after breaking his neck in the ring last year #wwe #ddpy.”

There’s still no word on when he’ll return to action. Erick, who is Ivar’s tag team partner, has been out of action as well as he and his wife, Sarah Logan, are expecting the birth of their son soon.
