Braun Strowman is currently recovering from elbow surgery at the moment. However, he did return to WWE TV over the weekend at the Tables Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view. He faced Corbin in a TLC match, where, if Strowman won, he’d be granted the next Universal Title shot against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble PPV. Had Corbin won, his role as Monday Night Raw General Manager would become permanent.
Given that there are no disqualifications in a TLC match, Strowman, wearing a sling on his surgically repaired arm, took on the help of several fellow WWE Superstars, who beat Corbin down before Strowman was allowed to pin him. Yesterday WWE filmed two episodes of Raw due to the holidays next week.
Strowman didn’t appear on the first episode, but did make an appearance on the pre-taped Christmas Eve episode for a segment with Paul Heyman. However, this time he was no longer wearing a sling, and simply had his arm taped up. Check out a photo from the segment here:

It’s expected that Strowman will continue to recover from surgery and won’t be competing inside the ring until his match with Lesnar at the Royal Rumble on January 27th.
