PHOTO: Omos Attends Power Slap Event Amid WWE Hiatus

Ever since Triple H took over WWE’s main roster creative, Omos’s role in WWE has been reduced.

Past reports suggest WWE officials felt Omos could be used in the attraction role, something The Undertaker echoed on his podcast. After taking over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39 in 2023, he has wrestled semi-regularly on live events.

Under Vince McMahon, he was regularly used on television, where he was paired with MVP as his manager. Omos’ last match was on the April 5th episode of SmackDown, where he worked the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Before then, he had been working house shows. While away from WWE, he launched a successful YouTube channel.

Power Slap 10 was held on Friday night at Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Omos, Braun Strowman, and Rey Mysterio were at the event. It’s unclear when WWE will use Omos again.
