Pete Dunne hasn’t been seen on WWE television in months as he is stuck in the UK due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are travel restrictions in place that have prevented him to work in the United States for the NXT brand and until recently, NXT UK has been shut down.
Thus, the former NXT UK Champion decided to get into better shape. He took to his official Twitter account to show off his new physique. He wrote the following:
“I’ve had quite a few mentions saying I’ve lost weight and asking if I’m unwell etc. I’ve used lockdown to get in the best shape of my life and I’m excited for an eventual in ring return when travel is possible.”

It turns out that Dunne is now working as a backstage producer for the brand as well. The first episode of the relaunch aired on the WWE Network this past Thursday and this is where his new role was revealed.
