Ric Flair has provided an update on his health after confirming he is fighting skin cancer for a second time. On Saturday, the 16-time world champion posted a photo on X showing bandages on his forehead with the caption, “On The Mend! 💪”
After photos surfaced showing marks on his face, Flair initially denied any health issues, posting on social media, “I’m Sorry Social Media Has Misled People, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind.”
However, shortly after that denial, he confirmed the diagnosis in a statement to PEOPLE magazine.
“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer,” Flair revealed. “I will be undergoing treatment next week.”
Flair has a well-documented history of overcoming serious health issues, including surviving near-fatal organ failure and a medically induced coma in 2017.
