PHOTO: Scarlett Bordeaux Shows Off A New Look

Scarlett Bordeaux is embracing a new look for her new chapter outside of WWE. In a recent post on her Instagram account, the wrestling star revealed that she is in the process of changing her hair color, sharing a selfie with the caption, “Blonde in progress. Smokeshow loading…”.

This change comes just weeks after she and her husband, Karrion Kross, departed from WWE following the expiration of their contracts, ending their second three-year run with the company. While some fans initially speculated that their departure was a storyline, their absence from television signals that the duo is officially moving on to their next venture.

Scarlett first broke into the wrestling business in 2012 on the Chicago independent scene, which eventually led to a run in Ring of Honor. She would eventually sign full-time with TNA Wrestling and later WWE, working alongside her husband, Karrion Kross. The most successful period of Scarlett and Kross’s careers came during their time in NXT.

Scarlett was an essential part of his presentation, which saw him become a dominant, two-time NXT Champion. The duo’s cinematic entrance and “Fall and Pray” mantra made them one of the most memorable acts in the history of the “black and gold” era of the brand. Their initial main roster call-up in 2021 saw Kross separated from Scarlett and repackaged, a move that was heavily criticized and ultimately led to their first release from the company.

After returning to WWE in 2022 under the creative direction of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the duo’s original, darker presentation was put back together, and they were featured in feuds on the SmackDown brand. However, they were never able to recapture the same main event momentum they had in NXT despite having strong fan support.
