Since FTR arrived in AEW, fans have been waiting to see them wrestle The Young Bucks. It appears that match is getting closer to happening.
In the meantime, The Young Bucks can have some fun on social media at the expense of FTR.
Months before FTR departed WWE, Vince McMahon had plans to turn The Revival into a comedy tag team. Originally, he came up with an idea to have them be a comedy version of The Fabulous Ones tag team from the 80s.
This would have seen them with new gear, music, and different a dynamic. The plans for them were dropped and they were pulled from television.
The Young Bucks recreated what McMahon had in mind with a post on Twitter with the caption of, “Well, if we went there [to WWE], you guys [FTR] would’ve looked like this.”
Dax Harwood responded with, “Thank God we spent thousands of dollars to get out of our contracts to come to your show just to make this happen….because you were always too afraid to come to us [in WWE].”
