PHOTOS: Becky Lynch shows off nasty bruise from Nia Jax mishap on WWE SmackDown Live

Last night’s episode of SmackDown Live cleared things up for Survivor Series this weekend. SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was initially scheduled to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. Unfortunately, Lynch was injured by Nia Jax during the invasion angle on Raw this past Monday. Jax hit Lynch with a stiff and hard shot that broke the Irishwoman’s face and busted open her nose.

Now, due to the severity of the injuries, Lynch won’t be able to compete this weekend against Rousey. It was the most anticipated match of the card and Jax is reportedly taking heat backstage for injuring Lynch. Lynch appeared on SmackDown Live yesterday to hand-pick her replacement to face Rousey on Sunday.

Lynch ended up picking former best-friend and current rival Charlotte Flair, before hugging Flair and wishing her good luck. During her appearance, however, Lynch was really showing the effects of the injury she sustained on Monday. The swelling on her face was very bad and terribly bruised. Check out some photos here:
