Last Friday, WWE packed up production equipment from the Performance Center and sent trucks to the Amway Center.
On Monday, WWE confirmed that they would be airing episodes of Raw and SmackDown from the arena going forward. It starts with this Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
WWE has created a concept, titled ThunderDome, which will feature a state-of-the-art set, video boards, pyrotechnics, lasers, cutting-edge graphics, and drone cameras.
Kevin Dunn talked more about the concept in an interview with Sports Illustrated. Three of the workers helping set up the production for the set and everything that WWE has planned at the arena have shared photos of the construction on Instagram, which you can see here:
