After Hulk Hogan claimed his son Nick was set to compete at WrestleMania 39 against Shane McMahon (a match that ultimately did not happen), rumors of a full-time wrestling career faded for Nick Hogan. However, the reality star may now be truly preparing to enter the ring, as he recently shared a photograph on Instagram of himself working out with the NWA’s Bryan Idol.
Nick Hogan is best known as the 35-year-old son of Hulk Hogan and a cast member of the reality TV shows Hogan Knows Best and Brooke Knows Best. He previously made headlines after being involved in a serious car crash where his passenger suffered life-changing injuries, which resulted in his incarceration.
Nick Hogan had previously trained with Rikishi well over a decade ago, but opted not to follow his father into the wrestling business. Check out the photos below:

The NWA star spotted training with Hogan is one of the most prominent champions in the NWA. Bryan Idol is the reigning NWA World Television Champion, a title he won at the 2025 Crockett Cup. Idol is also heavily involved in the NWA’s corporate structure, currently serving as a National Promoter and co-founder of the Fight The World (FTW) Wrestling Academy in Florida.
