This week’s Monday Night Raw drew one of the smallest crowds for TV in many years.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there were around 3,500 people in attendance at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington.
The attendance was close to what they drew for SmackDown Live in that same arena back in February. 3,500 fans in attendance would be considered bad for a SmackDown Live show but even worse for Raw because Raw usually draws a bigger crowd than SmackDown.
If you were paying attention to the camera angles, you could see that they were being very careful not to shoot the areas with the empty seats as much of the upper sections were blocked off.
In the photo below, you can see different photos taken during Raw that shows the large areas where there were empty seats.
Look at all those empty seats for last night's Raw. That's a big ooof
Glad they are getting shit attendance. pic.twitter.com/6VwhcegMmR

The attendance and ratings will be something to keep an eye on in the coming months as things could get worse when Monday Night Football returns and there is no guarantee that business will pick up when SmackDown Live moves to Friday nights on Fox in October.
